It was yet another successful season for the Sunday 1sts as they won the Premier Division again fighting off a late challenge from Maldon Saints to run out winners by 2 points.  The Coward Cup yet again eluded Writtle as heriocs from the Highfield Vic's keeper meant that they lost out 2-1 in the Final.  It was a similar story in the Premier Division League Cup Final as they went down by the odd goal to Priory Sports.  Writtle gained their revenge over Highfield Vics in the Tiptree & District Charity Cup Final with a convincing 7-1 victory.

 

All in all, another good season as Writtle confirmed their position as the best club in the Mid-Essex area on Sundays although I know that Kyle Print will only be completely happy when he has won every competition the Sunday 1sts enter!
